FLYWHEEL Removel
2Inspect taper in bore of flywheel :
Remove lIywheel key from crankshaft
1Remove screw securing lIywheel to crankshaftThread knock-off screw (Special Tool NoT 8998) into crankshaft until it bottom sBack out two lul turns2Insert lIywheel removal tool (Special Tool NoT 2989) between lIywheel and top 01 powerhead

Gener.1When the magnetic field in the coi collapses, voltag much higher than the original voltage is induced into the pri mary wind ingAs the br eaker points open, the current tends to continue flowi ng across the pointsThe resulting arc would damage the points In short timeThe condenser, by absorbing the surge of igh-voltage, dampens the tendency of current to arc across the pointsThe condenser also allows the magnetic field to collapse rapidlyTh is contributes to high-voltage being induced into the secondary windings
