Propeller Removal On some model engines, the shear pin is installed behind the propellerFirst, pull the cotter key, and then remove the propeller nut, drive pin, and washerBecause the drive pin is not tight fit, the propeller is able to move on the pin and cause burrs on the holeThese burrs may make removing the propeller difficultTo overcome this
