5- Loosen the two screws securing the gear rack to the end of the throttle cable and remove the end of the cable from the throttle leverTake care not to lose the small sleeve from the end of the rack to which the screws were attachedPush out the center square button, and then remove the rack from the shift leverCLEANING AND INSPECTING
