Plate installed on some engines covering the inspection hole in the flywheelThe plate is clearly marked to indicate which side is to face upward during installation
sideWhen installing this plate, check to be sure the word UP is facing upward23- After the ratchet plate has been installed, install the hand starter over the flywheelCheck to be sure the ratchet engages the flywheel properly24- Set the gap on each spark plug at 0.030"25- Install the spark plugs and tighten them to the torque value given in the following tableConnect the battery leads to the battery terminals, if battery is used with starter motor to crank the engine
