and slip the spring over the edge of the float, as shownApply just drop of oil to the inlet needle and then lower the needle into the seatInstall NEW hinge pin included in the kit15- Hold the carburetor in horizontal position, as shown, and observe the attitude of the floatThe float must be level (parallel) with the surface of the carburetorIf the float is not level, use pair of needlenose pliers and CAREFULLY bend the float tab SQUARELY until the float is in the correct position (level with the carburetor)Check to be sure the float is square with the carburetor cavity (one side is not further away than the other)16- Place the bowl gasket in position on the carburetor, and then position the bowl on top of the gasketSecure the bowl in place with the five screws
