Installing the intake manifold over the reed plate
Place NEW head gasket in place on the cylinder blockNEVER use automotive type head gasket sealerThe chemicals in the sealer will cause electrolytic action and eat the aluminum faster than you can get to the bank for money to buy new cylinder blockInstall the head bolts and tighten them fingertight, then just bit moreTighten the bolts alternately and evenly in three rounds to the torque value specified in the AppendixOn the first round tighten the bolts to 12 the total torque value, on the second round to 34 the total torque value, and to the full torque value on the third and final roundPOWERHEAD INSTALLATION Install the assembled power head to the exhaust housing and tighten the attaching bolts alternately and evenly in three rounds to the torque value specified in the AppendixTighten the bolts to 12 the torque value on the first round, to 34 the total torque value on the second round, and to the full torque value on the third and final round
