Pinion Bearing Removal
Inspect the pinion bearing for damage without removing itIf the bearing is removed for any reason, it must be replacedIf the pinion bearing must be replaced, remove the bearing retaining screw from the gearcaseDiscard the O-ring from the screw
Water Intake Screen
Inspect the water intake screen for blockage and remove it by depressing the tabs on either side of the screen and pushing upward

Install the water intake screenDrop it into the water intake cavity and use suitable tool to push it down as far as it will go1Bearing retaining screw 001997
