GEARCASE WATER PUMP SERVICE Apply thin bead of Adhesive 847 in the seal groove, and install the special shaped O-ring sealimpeller, and slide water pump down over camBe sure impeller cam does not fall out of position

IMPORTANT: Make sure the impeller engages
the impeller camSerious powerhead damage will result if impeller cam is not in placeAlign the impeller housing with the gearcaseApply Gasket Sealing Compound to threads of the four impeller housing screwsInstall the screws and tighten to torque of 60 to 84 inlbs(7 to 9.5 Nm)Install the water tube grommet on the impeller housing
Apply Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides of new impeller plate gasketInstall the gasket and impeller plateApply Triple-Guard grease or Adhesive 847 to temporarily hold drive cam in place
