GEARCASE GEARCASE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION MRL MODELS Apply Gasket Sealing Compound to threads of the trim tab screwInstall and align the trim tab with the index marks noted prior to disassemblyTighten the trim tab screw to torque of 35 to 40 ftlbs(47 to 54 Nm)For adjustment, refer to Trim Tab Adjustment on p45Install recessed retaining screwTighten to torque of 10 to 12 ftlbs(13.5 to 16 Nm)
