Cylinder Head Removal
Remove thermostat cover and thermostat assemblyRefer to THERMOSTAT SERVICING on p180Loosen in stages and remove cylinder head screwsRemove the cylinder headDiscard orings and thermostat seal
Use Torquing Socket, PN 331638, to loosen in stages the rod cap retaining screwsDO NOT remove the screws
Using one hand to support the piston, remove the rod cap screws with your other handRemove each piston and rod assembly1Cylinder head screws (14 total) 002253
