Oil Injection Fittings Flow Test
Make sure the oil injection fittings of the cylinder and crankcase assembly allow fluid to moveRemove oil distribution hose from oil distribution manifoldUse Syringe, PN 346936, filled with isopropyl alcohol to force fluid through hose and fitting
LOW OIL Sending Unit Test
Remove the oil from the oil tankStart the outboardThe ignition should be interrupted once per 50 engine revolutionsIf the outboard has been equipped with dash mounted Engine Monitor system, turn the key switch ONThe LOW OIL light of the warning system gauge should turn onOnce the warning has been confirmed, refill the oil tank and start the outboardThe LOW OIL warning should stop after the oil pump cycles times
