Starter Installation
Apply Triple-Guard grease to the threads of the two starter screws, the double-ended stud, and also to the washersPosition the starter and install the screws and washersTighten screws to torque of 168 to 192 inlbs(19 to 21 Nm)Attach starter positive (+) cable to post with lock washer and nut; tighten securelyInstall the battery negative cable () to the doubleended studCoat connections with Black Neoprene Dip

Grease is recommendedIncorrect grease application can cause electrical or warning system problemsTo disconnect the connector, press the latch and pull the connectors apartTo connect the connector, confirm that the seal is in placeClean off any old grease and dirt from connectorsApply light coat of Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latched
