SHIFTING AND SPEED CONTROL
IMPORTANT: To avoid gearcase damage: DO NOT try to shift motor into gear when
engine is not runningand engine is at idle speedWith the outboard running, twist the throttle grip to shift position or slower
Speed Control
With the outboard running, turn the Twist-Grip throttle control to change engine speed
Note: Idle speed is controlled by the EMM1
When shifting, always wait until boat has slowed
