Gearcase Lubricant
With outboard vertical, check the gearcase lubricant level: Remove the lubricant level plugLubricant must be even with the bottom of the threaded hole clean tie strap can be used as "dip stick" if the lubricant level is not obvious Add HPF XR gearcase lubricant as needed
RUNNING CHECKS
WARNING
DO NOT run outboard without water supply to the outboard's cooling systemCooling system andor powerhead damage could occur
DO NOT run the engine indoors or without adequate ventilation or permit exhaust fumes to accumulate in confined areasEngine exhaust contains carbon monoxide which, if inhaled, can cause serious brain damage or death
