POWERHEAD CYLINDERCRANKCASEPISTON Insert the pistonconnecting rod assembly into the cylinder bore from the cylinder head side using piston ring compressorInstall the connecting rod cap in the direction shown

Position the "O" mark on the piston head to the flywheel sideFlywheel side

Apply engine oil lightly to the connecting rod boltsTighten the two connecting rod bolts in two steps: First torque: 2.5 ftlbs(3.5 Nm) Final torque: 5.0 ftlbs(7.0 Nm)
