POWERHEAD INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
Apply Permatex No2 to both sides of new base gasket around the exhaust port onlyInstall gasket on adapterTo ensure proper sealing, mating surfaces must be clean
Torque the five small powerhead screws to 60
to 84 inlbs(7 to 9.5 Nm) Torque upper mount screws to 110 to 130 ftlbs(149 to 176 Nm)Confirm that screw heads are tight against steering arm

Coat the driveshaft splines with Moly LubeDo not apply lubricant to end of driveshaftSlowly lower powerhead onto exhaust housingGuide into position over alignment pin at rear of exhaust housingIf necessary, rotate flywheel in clockwise direction to align crankshaft and driveshaft splines
