MAINTENANCE SPARK PLUGS
SPARK PLUGS
Spark plugs should be removed and examined periodicallyReplace worn, fouled or damaged spark plugsUse only recommended spark plugs with the correct gap settingSpark Plug, Champion QC12PEPB 0.030 0.003 in(0.76 mm)
Apply Triple-Guard grease to the gasket surface of the spark plugsInstall all spark plugs and tighten them to torque of 15 ftlbs(20 Nm)If the mark is in unshaded area do not tighten anymore
Remove spark plugs and inspect condition Set spark plug gap on new, replacement spark
Mark spark plugs for ground electrode orientation
Apply Electrical Grease to the ribbed portion of
