POWERHEAD CYLINDERCRANKCASEPISTON ASSEMBLY Measure connecting rod big end side clearance with connecting rod installed on crank pin If measurement exceeds service limit, replace the connecting rod andor crankshaftConnecting rod big end width: Standard: 0.785 to 0.787 in(19.95 to 20.00 mm) Crank pin width: Standard: 0.791 to 0.793 in(20.10 to 20.15 mm) Connecting rod big end side clearance: Standard: 0.004 to 0.008 in(0.10 to 0.20 mm) Service limit: 0.024 in(0.60 mm) Measure the crank pin outside diameter in the thrust and axial directions at two positions as shown:
