I Disassembly
When servicing starter motor, clean component parts thoroughlyDO NOT use degreasing tank or grease dissolving solvent on yoke assembly, armature coiloverrunning clutch assembly, magnetic switch, or rubber or plastic partsThese parts should be cleaned with compressed air or wiped with clean cloth
ELECTRICAL ELECTRIC STARTER SYSTEM
Remove the magnetic switch
IMPORTANT: Before disassembling starter motor, put match marks at three locations (A, B, and C) to avoid any possible alignment mistakesMagnetic switch
