Propeller Shaft Bearing Housing Removal
Remove the water pump from the gearcaseRefer to "WATER PUMP" on page 204Remove two (2) bolts that secure the propeller shaft bearing housing to the gearcase
Propeller Shaft Disassembly
IMPORTANT: Clean and inspect all components
during disassemblyReplace all damaged components, seals, O-rings, and gaskets upon assemblySlide the propeller shaft out of the bearing housing assemblyRemove the shim, the reverse gear, and the thrust washer from the shaft31Bolts (2)
