GEARCASE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Remove six (6) bolts and separate the gearcase from the exhaust housing
Installation
If removed, insert two (2) dowel pinsCoat the driveshaft splines with Triple-Guard greaseApply light coat of Gasket Sealing Compound to the mating surfaces of the gearcase and the exhaust housing

If necessary, remove the trim tab
1Dowel pins (2) 2Driveshaft splines
