FUEL SYSTEM CARBURETORS IMPORTANT: For carburetors with pilot screw covers, DO NOT remove the cover and the pilot screw
IMPORTANT: DO NOT use wire or small drill
bits to clean the carburetor orifices and jet
Carburetor Body
Check all drillings and passages with syringe filled with isopropyl alcoholInspect the carburetor body for cracks or other damageInspect all gasket surfaces for nicks or irregularities

Cleaning and Inspection
Before inspection, all carburetor components must be thoroughly cleaned
IMPORTANT: Never clean carburetor by submerging or soaking it in hot tank or carburetor cleanerDo not expose plastic or rubber parts to any carburetor cleaner Carburetor must be completely disassembled Clean parts with Carburetor and Choke Cleaner Use clean bristle brush to remove gum or varnish deposits
