Keep battery connections clean, tight, and insulated to prevent shorting or arcing, which can cause an explosionIf the battery mounting system does not cover the connections, install coversInstall the batteryConnect the battery cables to the batteryAlways connect the positive (+) battery cable firstTighten all connections securelyCoat all connections with Triple-Guard grease and insulate the electrical connections to prevent shorts or spark arcing
