Assembly
Lubricate springspring cavity, and spindle with Triple-Guard grease or Lubriplate 777Hook end of spring into pulleyCoil spring counterclockwise inside starter housing
Rotate pulley back and forth until spring disengages from bottom of pulleyCarefully lift the pulley straight off the starter housing so that the spring remains in the housing
If new rope is used, fuse both endsTie knot at one end of the rope and pass rope through hole in pulleyPush knot and end of rope into recessWind rope counterclockwise on pulley
