GEARCASE DISASSEMBLY Remove the pinion, thrust bearing, and thrust washer from gearcase housingtouch one anotherReplace the clutch spring if necessary

Insert punch into the drive pin hole in the propeller shaftWhile holding the forward gear still, rotate the propeller shaft in counterclockwise directionGently pull the propeller shaft from the clutch spring and forward gear
Use Puller Bridge, PIN 432127, and Small Puller, PIN 432131, to remove both gearcase bearing housing sealsDiscard the seals
