GEARCASE WATER PUMP Apply Adhesive 847 to outside surface of driveshaft tube grommetInstall the grommet in the impeller housing with Bearing Installer, PIN 115309blades and install the impeller in the housing in counterclockwise direction

Apply Adhesive 847 to outside surface of the water tube grommetInstall the grommet in the impeller housingCoat the inside surface of grommet with Triple-Guard grease
Slide the water pump housing down over the driveshaft and engage the water pump impeller drive keyRotate the housing until the screw holes line upOnly rotate the water pump housing in counterclockwise direction to prevent the impeller blades from being turned backwardsOnce the screw holes line up, seat the water pump in positionCoat the three screws with Gasket Sealing CompoundInstall and tighten the screws to torque of 25 to 35 inIbs(2.8 to 4.0 Nm)Install driveshaft coupler and driveshaft tube1Grommet
