FUEL SYSTEM CARBURETOR SERVICE Position slot of throttle valve over alignment pin of carburetor body, and slide throttle valve assembly into carburetor bodyTighten carburetor body capInstall needle jet and main jetInstall slow speed adjustment screw with spring on carburetor body
Install throttle leverPlace throttle lever in front of holderPosition the support tab on the hole of holder, and tighten screwInstall valve seat
Install new float chamber gasketCheck for correct positioning of float hingeFloat level controls the height of fuel in the float chamber and is critical to carburetor calibration and function Top of float hinge should be 0.090 in(2.3 mm), measured from the top edge of the casting
