PERIODIC MAINTENANCE VALVE CLEARANCE 3Insert the thickness gauge between the valve stem end and the valve adjusting screw on the rocker arm If the clearance is out of specification, adjust it to within the specified range
Valve clearance (when cold) IN 0.080.12 mm (0.0030.005 in) EX 0.130.17 mm (0.0050.007 in)

4Loosen the valve adjusting lock nut
5Turn the valve adjusting screw (2) using the valve clearance adjusting driver to bring it to within the specified range
