Removal
Raise the outboard and engage trailering leversRemove the blue and green wires from pump motor connector housingRemove the spring clip from the cylinder pin
Remove one of the 34 inlocknuts from the angle adjustment rodRemove the rod from the stern brackets
Remove the unit from the stern brackets far enough to remove the ground lead from the pump motor mounting screw15493
Slide Hammer Thread Adapter, PIN 340624, onto Slide Hammer, PIN 391008Screw the adapter into the cylinder pin and remove the pinGround lead
