MIDSECTION STEERING HANDLE Remove the throttle cable retaining clipPry the cable trunnion out of the steering handle and remove cable
Inspection
Inspect the throttle cable for kinks and wearReplace if necessaryInspect the steering handle components for wear, cracks, or damageReplace parts if necessary
Refer to Stop Circuit Tests on p118 to test stop switch
Assembly
Install the throttle cable seal in inner handle12Retaining clip Cable trunnion

If removed, apply Lactite Depend 300 adhesive to inner handle at areas shown0.5 in
IMPORTANT: DO NOT remove the inner handle
