MIDSECTION STERN BRACKET Position the swivel bracket between the stern bracketsPlace thrust washer between each of the stern brackets and the swivel bracketApply liberal amount of Adhesive to heads of the upper mount screws
Place the bumpers on the upper mount screws
Install the tilt tube Tighten the tilt tube nuts 40 to 45 ftIbs(54 to 60 Nm), then back off one nut turn Apply Nut Lock to threads of the upper mount to steering arm screwsInstall the mount and tighten the screws 24 to 26 ft Ibs(32 to 35 Nm)Make sure to place the ground lead under the port screwU
