POWERHEAD ASSEMBLY
Crankshaft and Connecting Rods
Remove rod caps and keep them identified by cylinder numberLubricate the crankpin bearing assemblies and connecting rods with outboard lubricantPlace one half of the bearing assemblies in each connecting rod
Lubricate threaded portion of rod cap screws with outboard lubricantAlign dot on rod cap with dot on the connecting rodInstall rod cap screws finger tight (NO MORE than inIbs(1 Nm) maximum)

IMPORTANT: Make sure alignment dot on rod cap matches dot on rod
Gently lower the crankshaft and main bearing assembly into place Align upper a-ring in its groove Align main bearing with locating pin Install and align the lower crankcase head Carefully pull each connecting rod into place Install second half of each crankpin bearing
