OILING SYSTEM OIL COMPONENT SERVICING
Installation
Clean the threads on the pulse limiter and apply Pipe SealantInstall pulse limiter in crankcase Secure pulse hose with clampPosition the OMS pump, inserting fueloil output nipple into housingFasten pump with retaining screwsTorque screws 18 to 24 inIbs(2 to Nm)Connect pulse hose to pulse fitting of pump and and fuel supply hose to fuel inlet fitting of pumpFasten hoses with clampsRefer to Oiling System Priming on p52
Make sure the oiling system has been primed and the "NO OIL" warning has been confirmedCheck routing of oil system hosesReinstall lower engine coversRun outboard and check for leaksRepair any fuel or oil leaks and kinked or misrouted hosesReinstall air silencerRefer to Oil Supply Vacuum Test on p176 for oil tank servicing
