IGNITION POWER PACK
POWER PACK
Removal
Separate the power pack connector(s}Twist and remove the primary lead covers from the ignition coils Note the position of the starwasher and the power pack ground lead before removing any screwsRemove the screws and power pack
IGNITION COIL
Removal
Twist and remove cover to remove the spark plug and primary leads from the ignition coils Make note of the fastener and washer orientation before removing any screws
Installation
Clean the power pack mounting bosses to provide clean engine groundCarefully install the starwasher and the power pack ground lead on ignition coilInstall the screws and tighten 60 to 84 inIbs(7 to Nm)Apply isopropyl alcohol to the Amphenol connectorsAlign and carefully plug togetherSecure with wire retainer if usedApply Electrical Grease to the opening of each primary lead cover and install the covers on the ignition coilObserve proper wire routing and ignition timingRefer to IGNITION COIL
