IGNITION IGNITION PLATE Remove cover from bottom of the ignition plate
Assembly
Place the retainer plate, then the support plate on the powerheadAlign support plate with four screw holes in powerhead Apply Nut Lock to threads of the four support plate screwsInstall and tighten the screws to torque of 48 to 60 inIbs(5 to Nm)Apply Moly Lube to crankcase boss
Remove the ignition component leads and the spiral wrap to separate the component from the ignition plateTo complete disassembly of the ignition plate, remove the four support plate screwsLift the retainer and support plate from the powerheadLubricate the ignition plate bearing groove with Moly Lube
