ELECTRICAL REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH TESTS If the LOW OIL light does not turn on after connecting the two terminals together, test circuits for continuityMake sure there is continuity between the engine harness and the instrument harness (tanblack wire)Make sure the black wire of connector has continuity to engine ground

Key Switch Tests
Refer to Wiring Diagrams at back of this manualUse an ohmmeter or continuity light to test key switch operationReplace switch if results are incorrect with any of the following testsbattery and key switch wiring before proceeding with the following testsSTEP StopGround Terminals (M)Connect meter between the two "M" terminalsMeter must indicate NO continuity at START or ON
