AC LIGHTING COIL RESISTANCE TESTS
Calibrate an ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect it between yellowgray and yellow leads Meter must show 0.86 0.05 ohms
Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect one lead to clean engine groundProbe each of the connector pins with the other ohmmeter jumper wire The ohmmeter should show high reading If the ohmmeter reading is low, repair the grounded coil lead or replace the stator assemblyRefer to IGNITION PLATE on p128 for servicing
