DO NOT run the outboard indoors or without adequate ventilationWhen running, the outboard emits potentially harmful fumes which, in sufficient concentrations can lead to unconsciousness, brain damage, or death
IMPORTANT: DO NOT perform break-in using a
flushing deviceDO NOT start up or run the outboard out of the waterDO NOT leave running outboard unattendedDuring the break-in, check water pump operation often Look for steady stream of water from the water pump indicatorIf the stream of water stops, shut off the outboard to prevent damageFind and correct the cause before continuingChange engine RPM oftenAvoid holding throttle setting longer than 15 minutesFirst 10 minutes of operation outboard in gear at fast idle ONLYNext 50 minutes below 3500 RPMOperate the
