Fasten appropriate chain snap hook to integral lift eye on engine blockHoist outboard by chain
Extend the output end of the steering cable and lubricate the inner core of cable prior to installation
CAUTION

If chain hooks or snap hooks are too large, the integrated lifting eye could breakThe outboard could drop suddenly and cause serious damage
