Inspect the starter mountIf the mounts are damaged or wornreplace by removing the mount using crescent wrench
Insta" the starter lockout cable into the starter housingPosition the starter assembly onto the outboardInsta" the three starter housing retaining screwsThe short screw is installed on the port side of the starter housingTighten screws and torque 48 to 72 inIbs(5.4 to Nm)
