MANUAL STARTER ASSEMBLY Turn pulley counterclockwise to pull spring all the way into housingAllow pulley to slowly unwind until tension is relievedTurn pulley counterclockwise approximately 12 turns until opening for rope in housing aligns with rope channel in pulleySecure pulley in place by installing stop tool into pulley and housing holesInstall spindle, screw, and locknutTighten locknut 120 to 144 inIbs(14 to 16 N.m)
Examine lockout partsReplace any worn or damaged partsInstall pawl, linkage, and retaining ring (sharp edge up)
