GEARCASE ASSEMBLY2530 Using right angled rod, install the pinion assembly in the gearcaseInstall the shifter cradle and clutch dog in the gearcase using long-nose pliers

Place the forward gear into the gearcase
Apply Triple-Guard grease to new pivot pin DringInstall O-ring on the pivot pinApply Nut Lock to threads of the pinAlign hole of shifter lever with hole in gearcaseInstall and tighten pivot pin to torque of 48 to 84 inIbs(5 to Nm)
