GEARCASE SEAL AND BEARING INSTALLATION

Oil and install new driveshaft bearing in the sleeve using Bearing Installer, bearing PIN 322923Press against the lettered side of the bearing until the tool is seated in the bearing sleeve
Driveshaft Seals
Install new seals, back to back, in the driveshaft bore using the appropriate seal installerApply Gasket Sealing Compound to the metal casing of the seals before installingInstall the inner seal with flush lip facing into the gearcase, then the outer seal with extended lip facing out of the gearcaseApply Triple-Guard grease to the seal lips after installing
