Propeller Shaft Bearing Housing Seals and O-ring

Use Seal Installer, PIN 342663, to install new seal in the rear of the bearing housingApply OPL Penetrating Lubricant to the casing of the seal before installingInstall the seal with the exposed lip facing away from the bearing housingPress the seal into the housing until the tool seatsApply Triple-Guard grease to seal lips after installing

Install new seals back to back in aft end of the propeller shaft bearing housing using Seal Installer, PIN 335821Apply Gasket Sealing Compound to the metal casing of the seals before installingInstall the inner seal with lip facing into the bearing housing and install the outer seal with lip facing away from the bearing housing Apply Triple-Guard grease to seal lips after installing
