MIDSECTION EXHAUST HOUSING
Assembly
9.915 MODELS Install the lower thrust mount and shift rod grommet
Clean all sealant from the threads on the two upper mount to steering bracket screwsApply Nut Lock to threads of screwsPosition the swivel bracket assembly on the exhaust housingInstall the two upper mount screws and tighten to torque of 18 to 20 ftIbs(24 to 27 Nm)Install caps with new O-rings and torque screws to 60 to 84 inIbs(7 to N.m)
Lower thrust mount Shift rod grommet
Apply GE RTVadhesive and install the two upper mountsApply Nut Lock to the four upper mount retaining screws and torque to 60 to 84 inIbs(7 to Nm)
