Lightly coat new O-ring and outside bore of the crankcase head with Triple-Guard greaseInstall the O-ring in groove of the crankcase head
Apply Nut Lock to the threads of the port and starboard exhaust housing studsPlace the washer on the studsInstall and tighten the two powerhead retaining nutsInstall the ground lead to the powerheadApply Black Neoprene Dip to ground screw connections
Coat crankshaft splines with Moly LubeDo not allow lubricant to pack at end of splinesLubricant here may prevent seating of driveshaft in crankshaftBe sure O-ring is in crankshaft sleeveMake sure the water tube washer is positioned on the water tubeLightly apply Triple-Guard grease to upper outside diameter of the water tube
