POWERHEAD ASSEMBLY2530 Using retaining ring pliers, install lower main bearing retaining ring with sharp edge of ring facing out
IMPORTANT: Loosely install cylinder head to
prevent pistons from falling outRemove the connecting rod caps from the connecting rods
Oil the upper main bearing and replace it with the lettering facing the flywheel end of the crankshaftOil the two roller assemblies and place them around the center journal of the crankshaftInstall the center main bearing sleeve with its ring end facing the lower end of the crankshaftSecure sleeves together with retaining ringCoat pistons, rings, cylinders, and Ring Compressor, PIN 326591 (PIN 330223 for oversize), with outboard lubricantCenter connecting rod in piston and locate piston rings on their dowel pinsSlide one piston assembly into the respective cylinder bore while guiding the connecting rod through the block
