POWERHEAD DISASSEMBLY2530 Remove cylinder head water cover screwsTap around the edge of cover with soft mallet to loosenRemove the cover, thermostat, seal, and spring
IMPORTANT: Check the inner exhaust cover for
pitting and flatness If pitting exists or the cover is warped, discard it and replace with new cover during reassemblyRemove the intake bypass cover and clean the gasket surfaces
