Remove the six intake manifold screws, intake manifold, leaf plate assembly, and gaskets
Turn the powerhead so the intake manifold surface faces upUsing rawhide mallet, lightly tap upward on the crankshaft until the halves just begin to separateLift up and remove the crankcase
