Stator Resistance Tests

Disconnect battery cables at the batteryDisconnect all stator leadsCalibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect meter leads between the two stator yellowgray leads Ohmmeter must show low reading If ohmmeter shows high reading, repair lead between the two yellowgray connectors, or replace stator
If stator lead is grounded, repair it or replace the stator assembly
